Outgoing messages

There is no setup charge for an account used purely to send messages! Setup charges only apply to reseller accounts and incoming (2-way) SMS. Our outgoing message credits normally do not need to be used within a specific time frame, other than the terms held within our terms and conditions, which allows a two year validity period for bundles up to 10000 messages. Prices for sms credits start at 4.5p per message depending on quantity purchased.

Credits are bought in advance using either a credit card or cheque. They can be purchased in the following quantities:-

Resellers

Reseller accounts are subject to a £140 setup charge. You only need a reseller account if you want to operate your own branded SMS service or have many users within a company and would like to allocate each of them their own SMS login details and credit limits.

2-way or incoming SMS

Incoming SMS services are priced according to the level of integration required. A typical system would cost £540 setup (which is variable depending upon your exact requirements), plus £180 per month hosting (please check current pricing on the secure payments site). There is no per-message charge.

Incoming messages may be routed to email, forwarded to your web server, trigger an outgoing autoresponse, be used to automatically subscribe to a bulk SMS mailing list etc.

This is ideal for generating extra business, or simply to improve your communications. For example:-

• Run competitions, with customers texting their entries.
• Your customers can send an SMS to request information about your events.
• Allow customers to respond to your outgoing SMS promotions.
• Allow your field staff to send information back to head office via SMS.
