Power2text is an advanced premium text messaging service provider, building upon our experience as a quality provider of SMS, Web Design and web hosting solutions since 1997. We started in 1990 as developers on the Amiga platform developing communications software for Ham radio enthusiasts as well as various utilities and hardware modifications. Our final offering to the Amiga community in the late 1990's was SMSMaster. SMSMaster was built on our success of the same title on the PC platform using much of the same technology. SMSMaster for the Amiga featured in the leading Amiga press at that time and also mounted on cover disks. At the same time the PC version of SMSMaster regularly appeared in the mainstream PC press both in reviews and cover disks. We then rewrote all the code and developed our web based sms and email to SMS solutions in house. From there we expanded onto the Palm platform and as developers produced numerous titles as shareware. At this point we also expanded into the Sharp Zaurus platform whilst developing our own proprietary incomming sms solution using again our own servers and in house expertise.

In mid 2004 with the core of our business developing customised SMS solutions we started development on advanced engine diagnostics software and programming tools for use during vehicle manufacture.

We have built the business using a strong ethical business model where customer delight is paramount no matter how much they spend with us and regardless of whether they are a local club or a multinational bank. We only use our first names on the telephone, never fictitious names so that all customers get a personal service.
